Rivière Doré
|
The Rivière Doré area is a recently discovered layer ultramafic intrusion hosting copper, nickel, gold, and platinum group mineralization. Interest in the area was initiated following the release of a Lake Sediment Geochemistry Survey by the Ministère des Ressources Naturelles du Québec. When the geochemical data was reprocessed the anomalous Rivière Doré samples returned values that rank in the 99thpercentile of all lake sediment samples taken in Quebec. |

Mineralization is hosted at the base of the Bouchette anorthosite complex. This formation is set in the Grenville Province, which is characterized by strong deformation and often exploration has shown that mineralized bodies have been mostly disintigrated. However, regional magnetic surveys by the Canadian Government and detailed airborne geophysics from Cartier/CopperOne suggest that the Rivière Doré formation is structurally intact. |
Cenit acquired its initial position in Rivière Doré in May 2011 with the acquisition of 120 claims covering 6956 hectares. In July 2011, Cenit Corporation entered into two arm's length agreements with Mundiregina Resources Canada Inc. to acquire additional mineral claims in the Rivière Doré area located 85 kilometers southeast of Val d'Or, Quebec; subject to regulatory approval and closing. In the first agreement, Cenit will obtain a 100% interest in 15 claims covering 871 hectares by issuing 200,000 shares and paying $42,000 to Mundiregina Resources Canada Inc. In the second agreement, Cenit will obtain a 100% interest in 123 claims covering 7138 hectares by issuing 400,000 shares to Mundiregina Resources Canada Inc. Across the two agreements, Cenit will acquire 138 claims covering 8010 hectares.
